SUBVENTED LEASE
Agreement in which the manufacturers cut down the cost of the lease through subsidy, normally by increasing the residual value or deducting the interest rate. It aims to make the lease more appealing and affordable for consumers. Subsidies lower the monthly payment the lessee needs to pay throughout the life of the lease.
