TRADING EFFECT
Performance gauge which evaluates the efficiency of a fund manager or an investor in managing his investment portfolio. It is done by getting the difference in returns between a bond portfolio and selected benchmark. The difference occurs due to short-term changes in the portfolio’s composition. Trading effect reveals whether trading activities have benefited or hampered a portfolio’s performance.
