Unsuitable (Unsuitability) is a circumstance where an investor’s investment strategy is within his or her means and does not meet his or her objectives. It is the duty of financial professionals to take the appropriate steps to make sure that an investment suits the client. In the United States, rules enforcing these kind of steps are within the jurisdiction os NASD.
