ACCEPTANCE OF OFFICE BY TRUSTEE

It is a mutual understanding that a person will assume any administrative duty that will be imposed upon him after his or her nomination with the estate. It is actually a formal way of inducting the person as a part of the trustee. After the nomination, a trustee may decline it, but he or she cannot do so after his or her acceptance of the position. He or she cannot also delegate tasks that are assigned to him or her.
