ACCOUNTING CURRENCY
Its is the monetary unit used in the record of transactions in the company’s book. It is not necessarily the same as the selling currency, companies are likely to use their own country’s currency when they record transactions. Example is this, when a chinese firm conducted a business with Japan, they will still use Yuan instead of Yen as the sales transaction.
