ACCUMULATIVE SWING INDEX - ASI
An indicator employed by traders to scale the long-term trend of the security by comparing bars that contain its high,low, opening and closing prices within a given time period. When the ASI is positive, it connotes that there will be a higher long-term trend. Meanwhile, if the ASI is negative, it implies a lower long-term trend.
