ACTIVE MONEY
The sum of paper currency and coins in circulation within the public. The value of active money fluctuates daily, weekly, monthly and seasonally. Within the United States, the Federal Reserve Banks disseminate new currency for the US Treasury Department. Money lent by the banks to the customers are regarded as an active money after it is actively circulated.
