ACTIVELY MANAGED ETF
An exchange-traded fund that posses a team or a manager who makes decisions on the underlying portfolio distribution or otherwise not sticking to a passive investment strategy. An ETF that is actively managed will posses a benchmark index, but the managers may alter market-time trades, deviate from the index or change sector allocations as they see it as appropriate. This creates investment returns that will not produce a perfection reflection of the underlying index.
