ACTIVITY-BASED COSTING - ABC
A method in accounting that points out the activities that firm engages, and then allocates indirect costs to the products. An activity based costing (ABC) system acknowledges the relationship between products, activities and costs, and through this relationship distributes costs to products which is less arbitrary than the traditional methods.
