ADMIRALTY LIABILITY
An event, conduct or risk that would produce a conflict with the admiralty (maritime) laws, thereby taking the concern under the admiralty court's jurisdiction. Moreover, matters tried under admiralty law are not required to be tried under a trial by jury.
