ADVANCE/DECLINE RATIO - ADR
A market-breadth indicator rendered in technical analysis for the comparison of a bunch of stocks with a higher closing than their previous day's closing price and those with a lower closing price than their previous day's closing price. The advance/decline ratio is calculated by dividing the number of advancing shares by the number of declining shares. The ratio may be calculated on different time periods such as a month, week, or one day.
