AGENCY BROKER
A broker which acts as a client's agent. Whenever acting as an agent, the client's best interest must be looked after by the agency broker, which includes attempts to fill out the client orders at the fastest way possible at the minimum cost. Institutional funds that place large block orders are commonly the clients of an agency broker.
