AGIO
A description directed to the bond premium whenever the bond market worth is greater than its par value. Agio, in the context of international markets, may occasionally designated to the fee charged for undertaking a deal.
This term is also used to characterize the premium to trade currencies because these bonds are usually exchanged on international markets.
