AIR LOAN
A scheme in mortgage in which a property is invented by a mortgage broker and a borrower will defraud the lenders to complete the transactions and earn profit. The broker may set up a system of mailboxes and phone banks that are used for the verification of the borrower’s home address, employment, credit history, and even the property’s title history and appraisal value since the borrower is not real.
