AMERICAN OPTION
American Option is a kind of option that a handler can exercise anytime during the option’s life. It allows the option holder to exercise it at any given time on or before its maturity date, therefore increasing the actual value of the option as compared to the European options that can only be exercised by its holder upon reaching maturity. The American Option is the majority of exchange-traded options.
