AMERICAN SHARES
It is a term that is being used outside US to describe US based companies publicly held stocks. Frequently, American shares appeal to small countries residents because of the broader financial opportunities and market exposure that they can get as compared to their investments in locally based stocks. Aside from that, a company that is listed in the American exchange gets more exposure. The Nasdaq and New York Stock Exchange represent a broad percentage of the overall stock market capitalization of the world, even in comparison with other major exchanges in Australia, Germany, Paris, London, and Tokyo.
