ANTI-DIVERSION CLAUSE
A regulation which forbids exported goods from reaching destinations which is not approved by the government. In the United States, the Bureau of Export Administration which is under the Department of Commerce obliges commercially exported goods to be attached with a destination control statement stating that the goods are only allowed for export to specific locations and that the U.S. forbids their diversion. The anti-diversion clause was stated on the latter part of the statement.
