ASSAY
It is the process of making an analysis to a physical sample of a material in order to know its composition. Using it in the financial market, the term is usually used to denote the chemical structure of an ore or mineral sample to know if it contains minerals of precious metals such as copper, gold or uranium. The samples used in the analysis came from the drill holes that are made in an ore or mineral body, or a property that will be evaluated because of its mineral or metal content by a production or resource exploration company.
