Act of managing and/or reducing business expenditures done by determining the costs and evaluating if such expenses are affordable and reasonable. Companies can cut down their expenses by either cutting it back, using a less expensive plan, or changing service providers. Businesses employ cost control to stick with their budget and adapt to changing profit or cost conditions.
