CANCELLATION
Notification by a broker advising his or her client that an incorrect exchange deal was conducted and that the activity is being pointed out. For example, if a broker bought 5,000 shares in the Hewlett-Packard company and the order was assumed to be for 4,000 shares, the broker should merchandise the increased shares at his or her expense. Hereafter, the broker should tell his or her customer about the deal.
