TRUST CERTIFICATE
Bond or debt investment backed by other assets and serve like a collateral. Normally in a public company, the assets may be seized or sold for the certificate holders to recover a portion of their investment should the corporation experience difficulty in making payments. Trust certificates can differ, depending on the type of company assets being used in creating the certificate.
