ASSET PROTECTION TRUST
It is a way to protect the asset of an individual from the creditors. The asset protection thrust allow to settle with the debtor using favorable terms on both sides instead of having expensive litigation process, if it is difficult for the creditor to get asset. Using this has its own complex and strict regulatory requirements like containing spendthrift clause and being irrevocable.
