ASSOCIATE IN MARINE INSURANCE MANAGEMENT - AMIM
An IIA program for insurance professionals is patterned to widen the knowledge of marine insurance. It involves the areas of specialization of ocean marine installment, principles of insurance and risk management, inland marine insurance, legal environment of insurance and management, and insurance company operations. This program of study is advocated to individuals involved in the areas of inland marines and ocean marine insurance. The AMIM program was developed due to the financial and technical assistance given by the American Institute of Marine Underwriters and the Inland Marine Underwriters Association. The marine insurance is the oldest line of insurance.
