ATTEST FUNCTION
A method for an independent review of the validity of the data which is already audited by an accountant. The attest function covers all the research conducted in an audit, such as examining and testing of a company's numbers and data. The finished audit report is also included. An attest function most of the time points to the independent review (audit) of the financial statements of a company.
