BALANCED FUND
A fund which combines a bond component, stock component, and sometimes, a money market component on a single portfolio. In general, these hybrid funds adheres to a relatively fixed combination of bonds and stocks which reflects either conservative (higher fixed-income component) or moderate (higher equity component) orientation.
