The long-standing chairman and CEO of the media company, InterActiveCorp (IAC). The network of websites of IAC are ServeMagic, Shoebuy.com, Vimeo, Evite, Lending Tree, Citysearch, Ticketmaster Online, Ask.com, Match.com, Hotels.com, and Expedia.
Mr. Diller stepped into the world of media way in 1966 when he joined ABC and climbed his way up to vice preside the prime-time TV in 1973. He assisted ABC in competing with other huge network by introducing Movie of the Week in 1969 together with directors such Steven Spielberg and Aaron Spelling. Made-for-TV movies turned into an industry practice because they were quick to produce and inexpensive.
