BELL
The one that indicates the start or end of the trading day on Wall Street is a harmonic instrument called Bell. The bell which is popularly symbolic that is the same to the checkered flag in auto racing, is not a very important part to the smooth operation flow of the exchange. In 1904, the closing bell on the NYSE was first introduced, while the opening bell starts its use in 1985.
