BUMP-UP CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSIT - BUMP-UP CD
Savings certificate giving the bearer a one-time right to take advantage of escalating interest rates. It yields a lower rate than a similar certificate of deposit without bump-up feature. If the investor opts to do this but the interest rates decline, he has no right to decrease the yield.
