CAPACITY MANAGEMENT
The operations of the capacity of a company’s resources, such as its inventory, technology and equipment, manufacturing and office space, raw materials and labor force. Capacity management also talks about with the volume of a company’s processes – for example, marketing or fresh resource development – as well as with limits constraints that emerge when several resources are mixed. Since capacity constraints in any resource or process can be a major obstacle for a firm, capacity management is of huge significance in making sure that a company flows smoothly.
