CAPITAL LOSS CARRYOVER
The net value of capital losses that aren't able to deduct for the latest tax year but is possible to be resumed into next tax years. Net capital deficits (overall capital losses less overall capital gains) can only be reduce up to a largest amount of $3,000 in a particular tax year. Any number that will go over $3,000 can be save toward offsetting capital gains in the existing year or simply reduced in the upcoming year(s).
