CAPITAL STRUCTURE
A combination of a firm's particular short-term debt, long-term credit, ordinary equity and chosen equity. This term is how a firm manages its total operations and development by utilizing various fund sources.
Debt comes in the arrangement of long-term notes payable or bond issues, while equity is categorized as retained profits, ordinary stock or chosen stock. Short-term debt like working capital requirements is also acknowledge to be part of the capital structure.
