CASH FLOW FROM FINANCING ACTIVITIES
Section in a firm’s cash flow statement accounting external activities, which enables a company to generate capital and repay investors including cash dividends, adding or modifying loans, or issuing more shares. It reflects the company’s financial strength to the investors. A firm than often leans on debt or equity might indicate problems in the future should the capital markets become less liquid.
