CASH RATIO
Ratio of a firm’s total cash and cash equivalents over its present liabilities. It is most commonly used to gauge a firm’s liquidity to determine if it can quickly liquidate assets and repay its short-term debt obligations. A firm cash ratio is useful to creditors when deciding the amount of debt they are willing to lend to the asking party.
