CASUALTY ACTUARIAL SOCIETY - CAS
Professional society of actuaries based in Virginia, which renders the Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) and the Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) designations. The society requires all candidates to go through rigorous actual examinations, entailing all areas of actuarial practices including actuarial science, economic, enterprise risk management, finance, insurance, and mathematics. For associateship, one has to pass exams one through seven and attend the CAS Course of Professionalism. For fellowship, an individual has to satisfactorily complete all nine exams.
