CHARLES M. CAWLEY
Co-founder, former President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of MBNA. He co-founded the credit card firm in 1982 and went public in 1991. During his stay in the company, he expanded it through affinity marketing, a customer-loyalty technique he carried onto the credit card industry. He also incorporated credit card analysis to gain financially responsible cardholders.
