Medical coverage source for individuals aged 19 and below whose parents earn too much income to qualify for Medicaid but cannot afford private coverage. It varies from one state to another, but it encompasses routine check-ups, doctor visits, immunizations, prescriptions, vision care, dental care, hospital care, X-rays, laboratory services, and emergency services. Certain states cover parents and pregnant women.
