CLEARING HOUSE FUNDS
Funds, represented by a personal or business check, that passes between Federal Reserve banks prior to approval of credit. Funds are in the process of clearing and reconciliation via a central processing mechanism. Because of this, it cannot be withdrawn on the day of deposit.
