COLLUSION
Non-competitive secret agreement taking place between two or more entities. They seek to disrupt the market’s equilibrium by changing the price of a product to their advantage. They may opt to restrain the supply of a product and/or agree to increase its price to maximize profits. They may also collaborate by sharing private information to benefit from insider knowledge.
