CONCESSION
Selling group’s compensation in a bond or stock underwriting agreement. The payment is based on the underwriting spread or difference between the payment for the securities and what the issuing firm receives from the sale. Computed per bond or per-share, it includes management fee, underwriter’s compensation, and selling concession.
