CONSUMER ADVISORY COUNCIL - CAC
Legislative body, comprised of 30 members, who advises the Federal Reserve on issues about consumer financial services including availability of credit, Consumer Credit Protection Act, and other matters affecting consumers. Established by the Congress in 1976, its members serve a three-year term which is spread out over time. Council meetings are done three times year and are open to the public.
