CONSUMER FINANCIAL PROTECTION BUREAU - CFPB
Regulatory agency responsible for supervising financial products and services offered to consumers. The bureau is divided into several units including consumer complaints, community affairs, research, the Office of Fair Lending, and the Office of Financial Opportunity. In essence, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau aims to protect and educate consumer on several financial products and services.
