CONSUMERISM
Theory stipulating a country consuming huge quantities of products and services will have a sound economy. It may also pertain to an industrial society which is advanced, a huge amount of products is purchased and sold. Sometimes called a policy cultivating greed, it also refers to a movement protecting consumers and improving safety standards, and truthful packaging and advertisement. It aims to impose laws against unjust or unfair practices on product guarantees.
