CONTINGENT GUARANTEE
Payment guarantee to the seller or provider of a product or service if the buyer fails to pay. Made by a third party or guarantor, such guarantees are normally employed when suppliers have no relationship with their counterpart. The buyer pays this fee to the guarantor, generally a huge bank or financial institution.
