CONVERSION PREMIUM
Amount by which the price of a convertible security surpasses the current market value of the stock that may be converted. It represents the difference between the price of the convertible security and higher than the conversion or straight-bond value. Convertibles can be converted for a particular number of another form at a predetermined price.
