CONVERTIBLE HEDGE
Trading strategy in which an investor places a long position in a firm’s convertible bond or debenture, and a short position in the underlying common shares at the same time. It is designed to be market neutral in which the number of shares sold short should match the number of shares to be obtained by changing the bond or debenture.
