CORE DURABLE GOODS ORDERS
Measure of new orders for US core durable goods, the total durable goods orders excluding transportation equipment. Market participants closely monitor these figures to have indications on current economic conditions and future production commitments in manufacturing. The US Census Bureau collates new orders data in its manufacturers' shipments, inventories and orders (M3) survey done monthly.
