CORPORATE HIERARCHY
Organizational ranking in a company based on power, status, and job function. In a public firm, the board of directors are at the top, followed by the Chief Executive Officer, then the President. Below the CEO is level executives including the Chief Financial Officers, Chief Information Officers, and Chief Operating Officer; then upper management and employees in every department that is further divided according to experience and authority.
