CREDIT LOSS RATIO
Ratio of current credit-related losses to the current par value of a mortgage-backed security (MBS), or sum of credit-related losses to an MBS’ original par value. Each MBS and sections within an MBS has various credit-risk profiles and credit loss ratios.
