CYCLICAL UNEMPLOYMENT
Fluctuating unemployment rate relative to the cyclical trends in growth and production in the business cycle. The cyclical unemployment goes down when business cycles reach their peak since economic output is optimized. Conversely, cyclical unemployment goes up when economic output declines and business cycles hit their lowest point.
