DISTRESSED BORROWER
Borrower who can no longer pay off his debt due to financial difficulties, either because of personal circumstance, not fully understanding the loan’s term, or failure to fulfill the terms that was initially agreed upon on. The term normally describes a homeowner at the risk of foreclosure.
